GayMap involves user-generated location data, adult-oriented place categories, and direct messaging between users, all of which carry jurisdiction-specific legal requirements (age verification, obscenity/adult-content law, platform liability for user content, etc.) that this template does not attempt to resolve.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use GayMap. By registering you confirm your date of birth is accurate. We reserve the right to suspend accounts we reasonably believe belong to a minor.

2. Your account

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You may not impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

3. User-submitted content

Places, events, photos, reviews, and messages are submitted by users, not GayMap. Place and event submissions are reviewed before appearing publicly, but we do not independently verify the accuracy of user content. You are solely responsible for content you submit and for having the rights to any photo you upload.

4. Prohibited conduct

• Content involving minors, in any form, is strictly prohibited and will be reported to relevant authorities.
• Harassment, threats, doxxing, or non-consensual sharing of another person's images or information.
• Impersonation, fraud, or solicitation of payment for sexual services.
• Attempting to bypass moderation, blocking, or rate-limiting mechanisms.

5. Location data

Sharing your location is optional and used only to show approximate distance to other users (rounded, never your exact coordinates) and to power the map. You can stop sharing at any time in Settings.

6. Moderation & enforcement

We may remove content, reject submissions, or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines, at our discretion, with or without notice.

7. Disclaimer

GayMap is provided "as is". Place information (hours, safety, legality of cruising/public locations in your jurisdiction) may be inaccurate or outdated. You use listed locations at your own risk and responsibility for complying with local law.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
